2. General information on data processing

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously and treat it confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection provisions (GDPR, BDSG) and this privacy notice. We process visitors' personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and to handle inquiries. This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics or advertising services. Fonts are served locally from our server; no connection to Google Fonts or other external font services is established.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you access the website, Vercel processes technically necessary data (IP address, time of access, page accessed, browser and operating system details) in server log files. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of the website). 4. Contact form and contacting us

If you contact us by email, by phone or via the contact form, the data you provide (name, email address, where applicable phone number and company, your matter and the content of your message) is stored for the purpose of handling your inquiry and for follow-up questions. The contact form transmits your details to us by email; no permanent storage on the web server takes place. For the technical transmission of the contact form we use the service FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which processes the data entered solely to deliver the message to our mailbox and deletes it after a short period; further information is available at formsubmit.co/privacy. To ward off automated spam submissions the form uses an invisible control field; no cookies are set and no tracking services are embedded for this purpose. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering inquiries). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply. Inquiries about potential mandates are additionally treated as strictly confidential.

5. Online appointment booking

To arrange conversations, we offer online appointment booking at termin.kentforth.com and on the page /termin. The technical scheduling is handled by a booking system operated on our behalf as a data processor by VALENTYR Group GmbH, Ringstraße 1, 31319 Sehnde, Germany. When you make a booking, the data you enter (name, email address, chosen time slot, company details and any message where provided) and technically necessary data are processed in this system. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (appointment scheduling as a pre-contractual measure). The data is used exclusively to prepare and conduct the appointment.

6. External links and LinkedIn

Our website links to the LinkedIn profile of Björn Michalke. When you click such a link you leave our website; the privacy policy of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland then applies. No personal data is transferred to LinkedIn merely by visiting our website; we do not embed social media plugins.

7. Your rights (Art. 12–23 GDPR)

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). An informal message to kontakt@kentforth.com is sufficient to exercise your rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany.

8. Data security

This website uses SSL/TLS encryption. We also take technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access, and we adapt these measures continuously to the state of the art.

9. Retention and deletion

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated or as required by statutory retention periods (in particular under commercial and tax law, six or ten years). After expiry of these periods the data is deleted.

10. Currency of this notice

This privacy notice is dated August 2026. We reserve the right to amend it to reflect changes in the law or in our services.
